Any type of glass can be converted to a ‘non-stick’ finish, which, as the term implies, acts just like ‘non-stick’ cookware making cleaning a very, very simple process.
Your shower glass has a surface that, without treatment, can soon become damaged by hard water. The limescale not only looks unsightly but also can harbour bacteria and germs. Soap, grease and body fats stick to the surface making the area unhygienic.
Non. Glass that has been converted into a non stick finish IS Easy Clean. Meaning you no longer have to spend hours and hours removing limescale from the surface, only to repeat the process 2 weeks later.
If the glass has been previously stained or watermarked we can improve the appearance tremendously in most cases bringing shower glass back to the original spotless condition when it was first installed. The treatment we apply to convert the glass to ‘non-stick’ has no visual impact on the glass but makes cleaning and removal of all dirt simple.
The finish is guaranteed for up to 5 years.
There is no need to use harsh and dangerous chemicals. Dirt, grime and limescale deposits simply wipe away. However, we can supply our AfterCare product to help keep your glass looking pristine for even longer.
For years people have had to resort to using harsh and dangerous chemical based products that carry warnings in order to remove limescale staining from their shower glass.
Despite trying to follow the recommendations for use it is difficult to have ‘good ventilation’ within a shower enclosure, normally to clean a shower you have to be stood inside with the doors closed to access the glass.
Once your shower glass has been treated you will no longer have to opt for these cleaners, which is better for the environment, better for you and better for your finances!
Yes, without a doubt.
Calcium deposits, which build up on ‘normal’ glass, are known to harbour bacteria and germs making the shower area unhygienic. On untreated glass soap, grease and body fats stick to the surface, cleaning becomes very difficult no matter how hard you try.
A 'non-stick' surface repels the dirt and grime. It is much easier to carry out cleaning on this type of surface as has been proved for years in the kitchen with 'non-stick' cookware, now you can have that convenience in your bathroom.
Even after a very short period of time glass can become discoloured and marked when exposed to hard water. We are able to restore most spoilt glass and make your enclosure look like new.
No. Transforming glass to a ‘non-stick’ finish is a process that has been in use for over 25 years and is used in many commercial situations throughout the world.
